When the Church Looks Like the World: Witchcraft in the Pulpit
Exposing Modern Witchcraft – Part 5
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” – Matthew 7:21
🔎 Recap: The Deception of Entertainment
In Part 4, we exposed how witchcraft has infiltrated pop culture, shaping minds through movies, music, and social media.
The enemy knows that constant exposure desensitizes people, making them accept witchcraft as normal—even fun.
But what happens when witchcraft doesn’t just stay in the world?
What happens when it enters the church—disguised as Christianity?
This is what we’re exposing today: how sorcery has crept into churches, Christian movements, and teachings.
🔎 The Enemy’s Strategy: Pollute the Church From the Inside
The devil’s best deception isn’t to create an obvious counterfeit religion—it’s to infiltrate Christianity with twisted versions of truth.
Satan’s goal is to:
✔️ Mix biblical truth with demonic deception (A little truth makes a big lie easier to swallow!)
✔️ Make people seek power, experiences, and blessings instead of God Himself.
✔️ Turn Christianity into a self-centered, feelings-based religion.
"For false christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." (Matthew 24:24)
Let’s expose where witchcraft has entered the church.
🔎 1. “Name It and Claim It” – Manifestation Disguised as Faith
"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." (Hebrews 11:1)
One of the biggest deceptions inside the church today is the Word of Faith movement, which teaches:
"If you speak it, it will happen!"
"Declare your blessings into existence!"
"You can shape your reality through faith!"
This sounds like faith, but it’s actually manifestation in disguise.
The Difference Between Biblical Faith & Manifestation:
Manifestation says: "I can create my own future with my words."
Biblical faith says: "God is in control, and I trust His plan."
Manifestation says: "The universe (or God) gives me what I demand."
Biblical faith says: "Lord, let Your will be done." (Matthew 6:10)
This false teaching turns God into a genie—instead of a sovereign King.
👉 Truth bomb: Faith trusts in God’s promises—witchcraft tries to manipulate Him.
🔎 2. False Prophets and Christian Divination
"But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies…" (2 Peter 2:1)
Many churches today are full of false prophets who claim to “hear from God” but actually practice divination.
Signs of False Prophets in the Church:
❌ They make vague, feel-good predictions (like horoscopes).
❌ They always promise wealth, success, and breakthroughs—but never repentance.
❌ They use “prophecy” as a business, charging money for special knowledge.
❌ They rely on mystical experiences instead of Scripture.
God does speak today—but NEVER in ways that contradict His Word.
"Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God." (Leviticus 19:31)
👉 Truth bomb: God speaks through His Word, not through Christianized fortune-telling.
🔎 3. “Drunk in the Spirit” and Mystical Christianity
"Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1)
Some churches promote supernatural experiences that look more like pagan rituals than biblical Christianity.
Examples of Mystical Christianity:
Uncontrollable shaking, screaming, or laughter (called "drunk in the Spirit")
Entering “trance-like” states during worship
Grave soaking (lying on the graves of dead Christians to “absorb” their anointing)
People claiming they go to heaven regularly and “talk to angels”
Many of these practices mirror occult experiences in shamanism and New Age religions.
God’s Spirit brings self-control, not chaos.
"For God is not a God of disorder but of peace." (1 Corinthians 14:33)
👉 Truth bomb: God’s presence leads to transformation—not entertainment and empty experiences.
🔎 4. The Obsession With Signs, Wonders, and “Spiritual Highs”
"A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah." (Matthew 16:4)
Many churches today focus more on miracles and emotional experiences than on biblical truth.
People chase visions, dreams, and encounters more than they chase God.
Some churches teach that if you’re not experiencing miracles, you lack faith.
Many believe spiritual gifts like tongues and prophecy must be visible at all times.
But God does not always move through signs and wonders. Sometimes, He speaks in a still, small voice (1 Kings 19:11-12).
👉 Truth bomb: If your faith depends on emotional highs, you are building it on sand, not the Rock (Matthew 7:24-27).
🔎 The Real Danger: A Different Gospel
When churches embrace sorcery, emotionalism, and self-centered Christianity, they preach a different gospel.
Paul warned us:
"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!" (Galatians 1:8)
Many people think they are following Jesus, but they are actually following a counterfeit version of Christianity.
That’s why Jesus said:
"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 7:21)
This is serious.
If the church does not return to biblical truth, it will continue to fall into apostasy, deception, and judgment.
🔎 Call to Action: Return to Biblical Christianity
If you have been caught up in false teachings, emotionalism, or mystical Christianity, Jesus is calling you back to truth.
What you can do today:
✅ Test everything against Scripture – If it’s not in the Bible, reject it (1 Thessalonians 5:21).
✅ Repent from any false beliefs – Ask God to renew your mind (Romans 12:2).
✅ Pursue Jesus, not just experiences – True faith is built on the Word, not emotions.
✅ Warn others – Share this truth and help others break free.
💬 Pray this prayer today:
"Lord, forgive me for any way I have been deceived. I repent from any false teachings and turn fully to Your truth. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and lead me in the path of righteousness. In Jesus' name, Amen."

So few people see how the enemy corrupts through comfortable lies. This “manifest what you desire” nonsense makes us believe we can create on our own. Without submission to God. It’s upsetting.
